The Dutch School of Southern California provides Dutch language and cultural education in Southern California. We have 3 on campus locations in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego every Saturday from 9 am to 12:15 pm during the school year. We have a dedicated team of native speaking Dutch and Flemish professionals and follow a clear mission. Our students come from different backgrounds and situations, but always have a connection with the Dutch/Flemish language.

Connection to your Dutch/Flemish roots with a local Dutch/Flemish community in Southern California and annual cultural events such as Sinterklaas , King’s Day, skating and more.

Full Dutch immersion program for children ages 2.5-13 years old taught by native Dutch and Flemish teachers.

Accreditation with Dutch Ministry of Education and affilitation with the Foundation for Dutch Education Abroad (Stichting NOB).

She is in the 4-5 year old group with a super nice teacher and really enjoys going to class! Although her knowledge of Dutch is still limited (I am the only one who speaks Dutch at home), I can already see progress! I guess the unbridled enthusiasm of the teachers has something to do with that too!!! "My son Max started at the Dutch School in North Hollywood last year. He enrolled in the Kindergarten class and after his first class he immediately loved his teacher. She made Dutch classes a joy to attend and learning Dutch a fun adventure. Now Max is 6 years old and he has moved up to group 3. As parents we are very impressed with the quality of the classes. Within a week Max was not only playing with words, but his resistance to reading was overcome. For us it is important that Max' Dutch stays on grade level, because we will live in the Netherlands next year and he will have to attend school there. Based on the quality of these classes we have no concerns that he will transition seamlessly into the Dutch elementary school system."
